Many organizations are starting to recognize the importance of adopting good Project Management practices. For this reason, more and more specialized personnel as necessary.

Many public and private projects are also beginning to require the implementation of methodologies and standards in Project Management, especially those proposed by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the International Project Management Association (IPMA). These standards recognize the adoption of good practices at the organizational level and the professional certification of its individuals.

The Polytechnic University of Valencia, through its Permanent Training Center (CFP), teaches the following university degrees:

  • Master in Project Management (60 ECTS)
  • Diploma of Specialization in Project Management (30 ECTS)

The objective of this training is to equip students with the technical competencies and managerial skills to organize and direct all kinds of projects. Both degrees have increasing demand in the professional market and facilitate the professional certification of their individuals.

In both degrees the student learns the most common theoretical concepts, methodologies, techniques and tools in project management and direction. These concepts and methodologies are applied to practical cases simulating real projects. You will also study how to plan, implement and control the execution of projects in a broad and multidisciplinary context. In this context, the student is allowed to reflect on the social and ethical responsibilities that may derive from his/her decisions. Finally, the student also acquires skills to perform coordination and communication functions. These functions are essential for managing project teams and integrating the needs and expectations of stakeholders .

The course is taught online by highly qualified teachers all specialized in Project Management . During the course, a permanent and close dialogue is established with each teacher. Also, there is a constant exchange of resources and tools through PoliformaT, the virtual teaching platform of the Polytechnic University of Valencia .
